Dear Alisha,

Goethe said “The person born with a talent they are meant to use will find their greatest happiness in using it”.  Sounds pretty simple, right? But identifying talent and encouraging people to use it is the hard part.” Sharing people’s gifts and talents is not only a critical business practice but it is a responsibility of each and every one of us!

So, in July of 2013 when Alisha Duren walked through the doors of SPIN’s Human Resource Department, we were able to see that she would be a huge asset to our focused intention on Recruitment of Right Fit staff.  Recruitment, now creatively called “Talent Acquisition”, centers on finding qualified and talented people for each service area in the organization.   Since your first day as a Recruiter you have embraced SPIN’s mission and Pillars, demonstrating a positive energy, added with an electric smile!  Your “can do attitude” is a great example to our pre-service candidates and they develop a trust in you as you support them to successfully onboard at SPIN investing in  their development as SPIN employees.

Alisha, when you joined SPIN, there was and continued for some time to be transition in the Human Resources Department.  We appreciate your belief in SPIN and your ability to sustain the recruitment of Right Fit employees. In addition, you have been a critical role model to new team members in Human Resources who they witness demonstrating SPIN’s Pillars in action and who they can depend upon to support them whenever needed.

Alisha, you understood SPIN’s mission and assure that you and your team are identifying candidates who clearly communicate and demonstrate people first action and interaction.  You have developed positive relationships with hiring managers throughout all departments at SPIN and this approach supports the successful outcome of hiring top quality employees. Alisha, as a Recruiter, you serve as an Ambassador of SPIN, welcoming new employees, providing them with a positive start and beginning them on a hopeful career development journey to be the best they can be.
