In the fall of 2007 you stepped out of your comfort zone. Leaving the Human Resources department where you knew well your responsibilities, daily routines and co-workers and stepping into the fledgling department of Behavioral and Developmental Services took a great deal of courage and initiative. Your title is Office Coordinator but you soon found that what was really needed was a chief cook and bottle washer. Not to be deterred you rolled up your sleeves and unpacked boxes and arranged furniture in the department's new home. You consulted with staff to determine their schedules and needs and you determined how best you could organize yourself and your new colleagues. From scheduling, coordinating, and billing to supporting the team, clients, interns, students and visitors, you take it all in stride with your warm and professional style. You balance many tasks simultaneously and willingly take on new challenges and you strive to make your team shine in the delivery of high quality services. They agree that you are often the glue that is holding them together as the department continues to unfold. 

So it is with great pleasure that I present you with the Employee of the Month award and recognize your outstanding performance on behalf of the SPIN, Inc. Board of Directors, your fellow SPIN employees and your colleagues in the BDS. We are proud to see that in reaching way beyond yourself, you have indeed achieved so much in such a short time. I think we are all watching the development of a true leader! Congratulations!
