Christopher Wasieczko
Nov 1, 2010
Dear Christopher,
Your nomination letter was a joy to read! Every good quality one
would hope for in an employee was attributed to you, and then some.
As a Home Life Coordinator and Program Specialist, you are highly
creative, innovative, passionate and determined when it comes to
supporting Michael and Barney to have a rich and stimulating
environment in which to live and grow. Painting murals, developing
a sensory room, sharing your musical talents, seeking solutions and
innovative approaches are just some of the ways that you have
enhanced the men's lives and enriched their social capital.
But your talent and passion don't stop there. You are also a
Leadership Development Team member and have brought to the
Professional Development and Human Resources Departments your
considerable skills as a Program Specialist by assisting in the
development and teaching of a curriculum for training program
specialists. Since joining the team, you also teach many of the pre
service courses to Direct Support Professionals. Your quick support
and contagiously positive attitude allow you to teach with an
openness that helps them not only to learn the skill you are
teaching, but to also embrace the commitment to quality service
that they need to have to be successful.
You are one of those win-win people where success breeds
success. And now you are enjoying a promotion to supervisor in
Residential Services.
So on behalf of the Board of Directors, your fellow employees
and Barney and Michael, I am privileged to honor you as Employee of
the Month. We salute you for bringing a hundred percent of yourself
to your position each day and for the lasting impact you have on
people we support, their families and all who are your students. We
also wish you well in your new role; you will surely be
fantastic.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
Executive Director
