Cortney Middleton

Dear Cortney,
Your manager, Kim Williams counts the day you accepted the Home
Life Coordinator position at the Hoffnagle CLA as one of her
luckiest. She says in her nomination letter, "…. I must say I have
never seen such a diligent and compassionate employee eager to
learn how to assist the site programmatically and support the
ladies above and beyond adult daily living skills."
The key to supporting Jinnell, Hannah, and Stephanie seems to be
"keep them busy with things they love to do" so your community
connections calendar is always jam packed. The ladies love to
experience everything the community has to offer from parks,
picnics and farms to libraries, museums, and theater. They also
enjoy volunteer opportunities. Part of their experience is learning
to be dressed and pressed for an outing and how they will be
expected to participate. So on any given morning you and other
staff can be found "doing hair", matching clothes and accessories
and giving some tips in social etiquette. You are eager to learn
yourself and are anxious to have the ladies learn everything they
need to know to have a real, true everyday life.
As a team member, you provide a great professional example by
following policies and procedures, managing your time and
attendance appropriately and by effectively communicating with your
fellow staff members and your manager. You ask tons of questions,
you accept feedback readily and dedicate your considerable energy
to the ladies and the Hoffnagle team.
So it is a pleasure to honor you today as our Employee of the
Month. Thank you on behalf of the Board of Directors, your fellow
employees and Jinnell, Hannah and Stephanie for embracing the
mission and values of this agency. You and your ever present smile
are a most welcome addition to the SPIN team.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
Executive Director
