A number of years ago there was a television commercial for Brillo scouring pads that declared, "If you love me, you'll use me". Well the gentlemen of Fanshawe certainly love the Norcom Community Center and use it often and effectively with your support.

They are ever present on Thursday nights for dinner and a movie. They were among the first members of Silver Sneakers to complete ten sessions and receive Silver Sneaker visors for their accomplishment. They attend most special events and generously use the fitness center. You also ensure that Dan Weaver has plenty of opportunity to rendezvous with his lady friend from another organization while she is at NCC.

Now many would consider that this is what you are supposed to do as a Direct Support Professional and it is. But it's the way you do it that makes you special. While you are supporting Bruce, Walter and Dan you also help anyone and everyone you see who also needs assistance. No one will go without popcorn at the movie if you're there; no one will get lost on their way to the fitness center because you will point them in the right direction. The Fanshawe guys will not show up without their swipe cards and your Assisting Director, Devon Sabasino, will always know where you and the gentlemen are, what you'll be doing, and afterward, how everything went.

Laura Fekete, Assisting Director at NCC and Devon agree that you are always positive and smiling and just looking for ways to be helpful.

So it is my pleasure to honor you as Employee of the Month and thank you on behalf of our Board of Directors, your fellow employees and Bruce, Walter and Dan (and his young lady) for bringing a lot of love and inspiration to your position.
