Dear Elizabeth,
Joe, Art and Fran are three very lucky gentlemen. You have been a
constant support to them since they came together at Fulmer in
2005. Respect and compassion have been your trademarks and building
"family" has been your passion. As the overnight support person,
you have to work a little harder to build effective relationships
because, of course, you have less awake time with the guys. But you
make the most of your time; you pay attention to every detail of
their dietary needs, their personal needs, the cleanliness of their
home and wardrobe and you provide much of the harmony for the rest
of the team. You always do what needs to be done; no questions
asked; no thinking twice about it. For ten years you have
incorporated the values of SPIN into your work life. You come to
work in the snow even though it may take you hours long to do so.
You attend meetings faithfully and are always punctual. You show
tremendous love and respect for the men as you always greet them
when you are entering and leaving their home.
The author of the book The Single Parent Family, Marge Kennedy
said about family, "In truth a family is what you make it. It is
made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table but
by the rituals you help family members to create, by the memories
you share, by the commitment of time, caring and love you show to
one another and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals
and as a unit."
You bring the importance of family into the Fulmer household by
celebrating holidays; organizing multicultural meals; by having the
gentlemen to your home on special occasions and, like all good
family members, you advocate for Art, Joe and Fran to ensure that
they each have everything they need and that their lives are full
and enriched. You truly care about your Fulmer family.
So it is my great pleasure to honor you today as the Employee of
the Month and to thank you on behalf of the SPIN Board of
Directors, your fellow employees, and Fran, Art and Joe for your
dedication and passion to SPIN's mission. You are one of our
amazing lights in the night.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
