This could be the shortest Employee of the Month letter I ever
wrote. All I really need to say is that in one year's time you
supported all five individuals in SPIN's new behavioral health unit
to be employed. Wow! This truly demonstrates your belief in
everyone's employability.
Chris Rudzinski pointed out in the nomination letter that you have
a strong interest in the whole person and in learning everything
you can about their interests so that you can better understand
what the best job for them may be and how best to support them. You
also believe in people and have faith in their ability to be
successful. When the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation was
skeptical about Hampton obtaining a job, you and he together proved
them wrong. Hampton works five days a week and loves his job.
Your passion for being an Employment Specialist comes through in
all of your conversations and activities. You listen to Direct
Support Professionals and managers to glean every bit of
information you need to do your job and you provide leadership and
encouragement to all of the BHU team members.
Of course you are no stranger to the Employee of the Month Award;
we did this in January, 2005 when you were assisting individuals in
supported living. You definitely have a vision for yourself and
those you support and excellence is the keystone. So, today it is
my pleasure to honor you as Employee of the Month for January, 2007
and to thank you on behalf of the Board of Directors, your fellow
employees and the men you support to be part of the community
workforce. You've taught us all that mixing strong belief and hard
work are a winning combination. Congratulations.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
