Hope Tenenbaum

Hope Tenenbaum

Mar 25, 2015

Dear Hope,

I’d like to start off this award presentation with a question for you, Hope.  On October 4, 2013, when you joined us at SPIN, were you aware that you were going to be involved in an explosion? Right around the time that you arrived, SPIN’s Behavioral and Developmental Service was percolating and the result has been an explosion of needed services with the highest quality workforce there is.

You, Hope Tenenbaum, are one of the many reasons why SPIN’s B&D services are the choice of families and held in the highest regard!  As a Licensed Behavior Specialist, and an integral part of SPIN’s mobile workforce, you demonstrate your passionate, caring dedication to your work and most importantly to the children and families who you support.

Hope, you have shown tremendous growth and development in your position especially over these past six months.  You are a perfect example of SPIN’s learning culture and your “all in”, never give up attitude is at the core of how you live SPIN’s Pillars in the community, sharing your gifts and talents within the school settings and interacting with families.

Sue Cerutti, your supervisor, shared, no I should say bragged about the reasons for your nomination by distinguishing your demonstration of SPIN’s Pillars and here are some excerpts from her nomination.

“Hope demonstrates People First by being a very strong advocate for her families and the children she supports.  She has a very big heart and she assures that each and every child gets the proper care, education and behavioral supports needed to be a successful member of society and live their life of possibilities.

Hope demonstrates Professionalism in all aspects of her job.  Hope uses positive and constructive feedback and applies it to her work, therefore enhancing her skills and competencies. She collaborates effectively with all stakeholders as well as being independently effective and efficient.

Hope demonstrates Performance Excellence by the constant quality care that she provides to the children and families.  Hope’s creative strategies are critical to children reaching their outcomes.

And last but certainly by no means least, Hope demonstrates Productivity by hitting her productivity target week after week which is not an easy task to accomplish.  Hope takes on extra cases and will ask for extra FBA’s to complete when she thinks she may have a few tight weeks coming her way with productivity.  Hope knows how to plan her schedule out in advance and is respectful of others time when scheduling visits.

This is, of course, music to our ears! You truly are an outstanding example to all about what your hard work and dedication can and does achieve with evidence based results. In addition, you are highly invested in your professional development and ever increasing your clinical credentials which is so important and a great role model for others.

On behalf of SPIN’s Corporate Board, SPIN’s Management Team, your colleagues, and especially the children and families you support, I congratulate you on receiving this most deserving February, 2015 Employee of the Month Award.  Your “Can Do” attitude is so very powerful and the fortunate children and families on your caseload believe that all is possible as they are achieving a Life of Possibility one day at a time.

With Deepest Recognition and Appreciation,
Judith R. Dotzman
Executive Director
