Lauren Slawecki
Jan 1, 2006
Lauren, in a recent satisfaction survey a
parent responded that you deserved special recognition for the care
and attention you give to her child. Well, your supervisor, Mary
Lou Haughney, took her suggestion to heart and agreed that indeed
you should be recognized in a special way because you are a
remarkable speech therapist and give all the children you support
that same care and attention.
Mary Lou notes that you consistently go above and beyond
expectations. You fit every child possible into your caseload; you
volunteer to do research on new models of providing therapy and
help management stretch our scant resources to the max; you
advocate for children and their families in a very professional way
and with tremendous knowledge of your field. You are known as
helpful, informative and a person who delivers high quality
services. A loving and child-friendly approach to providing speech
therapy comes naturally to you and you actively engage little
children in therapy by making it fun and interactive. You do your
best to find that special something in each child that motivates
them to learn. All of this spells excellence!
So, on behalf of the Board of Directors, your colleagues at SPIN
and the children you serve, it is my pleasure to honor you as
Employee of the Month. Thank you for your dedication to our
mission, your profession and those who benefit from both.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno, Executive Director
