Dear Milly,

It is never easy to prepare for and return from a leave of absence, especially maternity leave. According to Rashim Lancit and Mary Lou Haughney, you managed to complete all of your evaluation reports, IEPs, family contacts, etc. before leaving so that there would be no interruption in service for any child you support while you were away. Now that you're back, you have picked up where you left off exhibiting your high level of professionalism, care for the children and compassion for all your families.

You also mentor our new teachers; a tremendous responsibility. Learning to complete children's educational plans, the whole IEP process, documentation and billing for services are critical new aspects of a teacher's life and you ensure that our newcomers are skilled in this area. Additionally you have taken additional training in many areas and take a leadership role in training other staff where appropriate and using your newly acquired skills to better all aspects of the early intervention program.

Clearly you have embraced the mission of SPIN, Inc. and make a difference everyday. You are a role model to your colleagues and a tremendous support to the entire team.

So, it is my pleasure to honor you as Employee of the Month and extend appreciation for all you do from the Board of Directors, you fellow employees and the children and families who benefit so much from your support. You are SPIN's special Valentine! Congratulations.

Sincerely,

Trina Losinno
Executive Director

P.S. Congratulations on your sweet baby girl, Alaina!
