Dear Natasha,

Aristotle said “Quality is not an act, it is a habit”.  And lucky for us that on August 5, 2000 the summer breeze brought you to SPIN and you have been providing intentional quality supports and services ever since! No wonder why the summer has always been my favorite time of the year!!

Natasha, you define Aristotle’s quote with your passionate dedication and outcome achievement as you are deeply committed and invested in the individualized needs of all people.  As a high performance Community Support Professional, you consistently demonstrate SPIN’s four Pillars in your actions and interactions.  You deeply reflect respect for everyone’s uniqueness and support people to seek opportunities and reach their highest potential as you believe in the power of possibility.  And, most importantly, you deliver exceptional results with a 100 watt smile!

When you were introduced to Gina you immediately developed a special relationship with her and her family.  Natasha, your calm and pleasant qualities offer a positive, infectious environment that promotes strong and effective relationships with all, especially Gina and her family, your colleagues and all team members. You excel in creativity and problem solving, even during the most challenging of times.  Gina has benefitted from your creative, proactive skills and your investment in living a healthy lifestyle has made a huge impact on Gina and others as you support yourself and others to have the best possible health.
Natasha you are a person of high integrity, driven for performance excellence and you have a thirst for learning.  What is easily seen is that you are well respected and one of the key ingredients to this achievement is your steadfast quiet, yet steady leadership.

When supporting Gina, who has very unique and specific needs, you take the upmost time and exceptional care to ensure her wants and needs are met.  You go above and beyond the expectations of your job responsibilities to provide quality people first service through identifying and creating meaningful therapeutic, recreational and volunteer opportunities on a consistent basis that promotes and builds independence, relationships and ultimately social capital.

You are known as the “Go To” person who onboards and supports new and substitute staff, offering  advice and feedback to coworkers and supporting other individuals with transportation and needs based support, all of which requires you to be very flexible with your schedule to meet the needs of Gina and many others.   And again, all done with that gigantic smile! Toni and Paula in their glowing nomination letter stated that “Natasha is a very compassionate, independent, dependable and trust worth, presenting with exceptional talent, conflict resolution and problem solving abilities.  She is able to diffuse any situation in a people first, professional manner with the ability to juggle many tasks effectively and productively”.  Wow, SPIN’s Pillars all wrapped up into one!

So, on behalf of the SPIN Corporate Board, SPIN Management Team, your fellow colleagues, and most importantly Gina and her family, it is my privilege to recognize and congratulate you as a most deserving selection of May, 2014 Employee of the Month.
As we get ready to celebrate summer, we thank you for your intentional, habitual quality supports.  Your keen ability to build lasting, supportive relationships with individuals, families, colleagues and community members, ensures that Gina and others have a life full of possibilities.

With deepest recognition and appreciation,

Judith R. Dotzman
