Dear Shaina,

In June of 2013, Frankford Children Services was fortunate enough to welcome a new Assisting Teacher to our Autistic Support Classroom, you!  Quickly you were recognized for your incredible gifts and talents carrying out your responsibilities of implementing children’s IEP’s, creating developmentally appropriate activities, working closely with your team and truly caring for your children. Shaina, your caring commitment and strong work ethic was witnessed by all stakeholders and we knew that you had only just begun!

In 2015, your strengths were transitioned to a much needed role of Administrative Coordinator for Frankford’s Early Intervention Program. You jumped into your role with incredible enthusiasm, unyielding patience, and a positive attitude immediately demonstrating SPIN’s Pillars and mission in your everyday interactions.

Shaina, your organizational skills are known as amazing! You competently handle the extensive administrative work for 62 children. Your files are impeccably maintained, all paper work (and there is a tremendous amount) is correctly completed in a timely manner and you accurately maintain the EI roster, which involves working with many service coordinators.

Mary Lou, one of your proud nominators said “Shaina’s administrative skill are quite remarkable but the reason I am nominating her for this month’s EOM, is Shaina’s people skills. Shaina is often the first person a parent may talk to about programming for their child with special needs. Shaina is kind and knowledgeable. She explains our programs and the process clearly and from her heart. She is truly our “Director of First Impressions” as Shaina greets each child by name, each family with a warm welcome and all visitors and professionals are acknowledged in a professional and caring manner.”

Your caring support has enabled you to develop a great rapport with our families demonstrating your exemplary customer service skills.  Your People First approach allows everyone to feel cared for and provides them with a positive first, and hopefully lasting, impression of SPIN.”

Shaina, your passion dedication for SPIN’s mission and for the important work you do every day enables you to be an outstanding SPIN ambassador who knows and shows how to make people feel important, valued and appreciated. You have demonstrated an “all in”, true team player approach. Your co-workers agree that you are star quality.

On behalf of the SPIN Corporate Board, SPIN Management Team, your Children Services colleagues and most especially the many children and families you touch with your special skills and talents, we recognize, appreciate and congratulate you as you are so deserving of this recognition of Employee of the Month for June, 2017.  You truly live SPIN’s Pillars by demonstrating each and every day what it means to be a top performing employee at SPIN.  Thank you for filling us with your incredible brightness and supporting so many to live a life of possibilities.
