Sharon Wynn
Dec 1, 2006
Each one, teach one is one of my favorite themes in the SPIN
Strategies presentation at Traditions. I'm sure that at least some
of the new employees listening to my story don't think they'll ever
be called on to share their knowledge and skills but you can now
attest that you never know. Teaching staff who are now using mobile
technology to carry out their job responsibilities fell in your lap
simply because you always did their units of service entries. You
don't count public speaking as one of your strong points but you
did it and did it well and now you continue to be their lifeline
when they have questions or problems with this data entry task. No
matter what you are doing you are always happy to make helping them
your priority.
Helping others is always your priority! Even when you were the
Saturday support person, you knew the members by name and were
always ready to answer questions and assist them in any way you
could. Now you are here covering the front and back desks, giving
tours, processing memberships, entering Danic units and everything
else that needs doing if you have time. You better watch out; I
think Chante is planning to clone you.
All of this is wonderful but the truth is Sharon that what we all
cherish about you most is your smile and positive, happy approach
to everything, all day every day. When someone says Sharon Wynn the
automatic response is to smile. It has been many years since my
daughters were Brownies but when I started to write this letter,
this little song came back to me in a flash. Someone must have
taught you this when you were little:
"I have something in my pocket
That belongs upon my face
I keep it very close at hand
In a most convenient place
I think you wouldn't guess it
If you guessed a long, long while
So I'll take it out and put it on
It's a great big happy smile."
You don't have to go to training on customer services; you do it
naturally and by example you teach us all.
It is my pleasure to honor you as Employee of the Month and to
thank you on behalf of the SPIN Board of Directors, your fellow
employees and everyone at the Norcom Community Center for sharing
so willingly all of your gifts and talents and for putting your
special smile on the SPIN mission.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
