I've had the pleasure of watching the NCC fitness crew in
action; they bring new meaning to the word enthusiasm! While they
work on developing their muscles, one can easily see that so much
more is happening in the class.
You work them hard and challenge them to "do a little bit more" as
they use the various weight and cardio machines. But you also talk
to them and listen to what they have to say. You motivate them;
keep them focused and cheer them on. Whenever you have an
opportunity you talk about good nutrition, drinking water and
making healthy choices in their every day lives. This program
started as a class for teens with developmental disabilities but it
quickly expanded to include all teens who want to work out and have
fun. They encourage each other to do their best and by their
presence in the center give everyone a boost in their fitness
commitment. At first glance it would seem that you have a bit of
magic up your sleeve but "magic" in this case is your deep caring,
your success oriented approach and your professional
expertise.
In addition to leading the teen fitness program, you are solidly
booked as a personal trainer and coach NCC's peewee sports
activities on Saturdays. Again you are all about encouraging people
of all ages to do their best and accomplish their goals while
having fun.
So, on behalf of the SPIN, Inc. Board of Directors, your fellow
employees and all the people you support here at NCC, I am pleased
to honor you as Employee of the Month. You live the SPIN slogan:
"Making the world a better place for everyone." Thanks so much for
making a difference.
Sincerely,
Trina Losinno
Executive Director
