2015 Human Services Mayoral Forum

The Alliance of Community Service Providers, Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth and Family Services, The Committee of Seventy, and the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation hosted  the “2015 Human Services Mayoral Forum” at WHYY Studios on April 9. The six candidates for Mayor: Lynne Abraham, Nelson Diaz, Jim Kenney, Doug Oliver, Milton Street and Anthony Williams had the opportunity to share their platform and vision of leadership while also addressing questions directly related to services provided for people with Intellectual Disabilities and Behavioral Health concerns. In attendance from SPIN were CEO, Kathy Brown McHale, Executive Director, Judy Dotzman, Self Advocates, Lori Copestick, Brian Meehan, and Barbara Romanisky, along Direct Support Professional Bukola Ogunleye and Director of Community Affairs, Bernice McHale.
