On Wednesday, most SPIN Children Services and most Day Programs were closed due to the snow. NCC closed at 1 in the afternoon, however many staff did show, and we thank you. Direct Support Professionals- Whether you worked one, two, three or more shifts in one of SPIN’s homes or you shoveled and plowed driveways and walkways, or you handled the countless call-outs and related emergency issues – You are a true SPIN hero! For those of us who counted on you to do what you do best: an excellent job supporting individuals through multiple snow storms– we thank and salute you. We have heard how so many of you prepared wonderful healthy hot meals for all to enjoy, how you took turns sleeping and working as you were snowed in in a CLA and how you fought your way through snowy streets to get in. Whatever you did during this 3rd snow storm to support individuals to be safe and to enjoy being snowed in, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. SPIN Corporate Officers
