December 5, 2014…A SPIN Appreciation Gala to Remember!

From the first warm greetings at 7pm to the last dance at midnight, you could not help but notice that SPIN is indeed a family…a family that shares responsibilities for providing exceptional services, and a family that gathers together to celebrate accomplishments.  The 430 or so of us who were able to come together last Friday night truly shared a magical evening of good food, wonderful music and exceptional company. The Appreciation Gala was a testimonial to our many members and how they feel about SPIN and one another.

The sense of family was felt as members focused their collective and full attention on the brief presentation honoring those who demonstrated exemplary performance or achieved milestones in their SPIN careers. Beginning with Kathy’s welcome and hope that everyone feels special tonight; “because you are”, through Mistress of Ceremonies, Jenny’s sharing of the positive impact of each honoree and through Judy’s well wishes for a happy and bright holiday season to all, you could feel the sense of family. 

Mindy then took the stage to express gratitude for everyone’s support of our Annual Giving and Golden Ticket raffle, stating that it reflects how dedicated each and every one of us is to supporting SPIN’s mission. After several door prizes were bestowed, the drawing of the Grand Raffle commenced and the three lucky winners were announced.

The evening festivities were shared by adults who receive our services, Board members, community members and a huge group of SPIN employees from every area of the organization. It was truly a night where you could “feel the love” as we all dined, danced, hugged and laughed with each other until we were all too tired to continue!  

We extend a sincere THANK YOU to all of you who have joined our team as a SPIN member for 2015. Your financial support will help achieve many objectives in the coming year.  Whether you were with us at the Gala and danced the night away, or joined us in spirit by donating to SPIN, please know how very much you are appreciated.
