FREE Flu Shots Available at SPIN

SPIN’s Wellness topic for September is Flu Vaccine Awareness. For your convenience, FREE Flu Shots will be available to those employees in the PPO or HMO plan at SPIN locations. Your flu shot is covered under our Independence Blue Cross plan as it is classified as preventative care. Employees who opt out of SPIN’s insurance can also register! Flu shots are open to family and community members. All IBC members will be eligible for the free shot even if they are not employed at SPIN. Flu shots will be $25 for non-IBC members at time of service. This cost may be reimbursable through your insurance since it is a preventative care service. Flu shots are available to adults ages 18 and over.

The dates and times are as follows: (there are 2 appointments every 10 minutes)

Wednesday, September 26
10501 Drummond Road - 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
1642 Orthodox Street – 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Friday, September 28
820 E. Vernon Road – 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
10980 Norcom Road – 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

**Important: Please bring your IBC member card and photo id with you to your flu shot appointment. If you do not have your card you will be charged the $25 fee for the shot.
