Governor Corbett to Visit SPIN!

It has just been confirmed that Governor Corbett is visiting SPIN’s services on Tuesday December 3rd from 2-3pm. The Governor, along with the Director of his Southeast Regional Office and the Deputy Secretary of ODP will come to SPIN’s Norcom Community Center to meet with the leaders of SPIN, people in service, families and staff.

After a brief private meeting with SPIN’s CEO and Executive Director, the Governor will take a tour of SPIN’s Norcom Community Center, followed by a press conference at 2:25 in the Norcom theater which will be attended by a distinguished group of people in service, families, Officers and Trustees of SPIN’s Corporate Board, SPIN staff and guests including elected officials and city leaders in DBH/IDS.

SPIN is proud and excited that the Governor has chosen to visit SPIN. We look forward to telling our story and giving families and self advocates the opportunity to meet with and converse with the leader of our Commonwealth.
