Be Safe in the Heat!

With summer quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about staying safe when the temperatures are high and humidity is off the charts!  Be sure to check the SPIN Employee Portal and your employee email for important information when the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory, excessive heat watch, or an excessive heat warning. When these conditions exist, SPIN’s Emergency Management Team will decide whether there will be any changes in daily program operations.  You should also check with your manager for any special instructions when these conditions exist.  

Heat Safety Training is currently occurring for all employees who work at SPIN.  Be on the lookout for posters in all of our commercial buildings with important information regarding Heat Safety.  Residential homes will soon be receiving a poster with same information.  For more information on Heat Safety, please go to the following links:
