Home Buy Now Celebration

Oh what a great night to celebrate great benefit.  On Wednesday, April 22nd, Mayor Nutter arrived at Norcom Community Center to celebrate that Sharemah Gambrel was the 400th person to purchase a house with a grant from Philadelphia Home Buy Now.

Home Buy Now is a partnership between the City of Philadelphia and SPIN.  The city provides $2000 and SPIN matches that amount for a total grant of $4000 toward the purchase of home in Philadelphia.  This benefit assists our employees by assisting them in the process of buying a home of their own.  As a people first organization, with a caring culture, SPIN has joined in the program to invest in our valuable employees.

Fun Facts

• SPIN has been a partner with Philadelphia Home Buy Now since 2006
• 25 SPIN employees have received assistance in the form of a monetary grant to purchase a home
• SPIN ranks 3rd (behind University of Pennsylvania and Temple University) in providing the greatest number of employee assistance grants in the city since 2006.
