Special recognition & thanks to Barb Livengood, Amy Bachman and Ashanti Waters, our Social Work intern, for planning and executing an amazing Parent Support activity for families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder on Wednesday, January 22nd. Seven families attended, networked, learned about community resources. More importantly, they began building the supportive relationships that will help nurture them in the future! Thanks, too, to Sharon Heileman, Hannah Morton, and Ann Marie Machion for volunteering to provide childcare so the parents could relax on their own! Such a treat!
