NCC RENOVATIONS ARE COMPLETE!!

With the renovations complete, NCC is more beautiful than ever! Our former Sensory Room is now a larger Meeting Room, and we have a new and improved Multi-Sensory Room where our old staff lounge used to be. We have new additions to our Games Room, now called “NCC Arcade” located across from our Theater. The Theater has up-to-date technology which allows for a more enjoyable experience! We have an expanded Meeting Room also known as “The Philadelphia Room” which is located across from our newly renovated Culinary Arts Room. The Culinary room now has an accessible sink and oven for people who use wheelchairs. A new hardwood floor was added to our former Seniors Room to create our appealing “Party Zone”. The “crown jewel” of the NCC is our expansive new Fitness Suite, featuring eight new fitness machines that target different muscle groups. The machines have specially designed seats that can swing away for wheelchair access. In addition, there is a new cardio machine that runs on “arm power” rather than foot power, and more treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationary bikes. Sean Charlton reported, “The new equipment is here and ready to use. This equipment can be used by everyone not just people who use wheelchairs. The cool part is that people now can workout together instead of apart. But before you start, make sure you see me or B.J. before using the machines so that you know how they work and you get the most out of your workout. For those people who do use a wheelchair, this may be the first workout for you. So take your time and don’t over do it.” Please make sure you stop by and see our new and improved building!!
