The Quiver Traveling Farm Visits SPIN’s Early Childhood Center
What a wonderful morning at SPIN’s Early Childhood Center as it was temporarily converted into small animal farm! We had the pleasure of welcoming Farmer Jessica and the Quiver Traveling Farm with a host of friendly two and four legged friends. This learning activity was made possible through a grant from the Terri Lynne Lokoff Foundation. The children were excited to meet an adorable bunny, some little guinea pigs, a barn rooster, a chicken, a squeaky pig, a goat, a very quiet calf, a goose, and some very cute chicks. Farmer Jessica gave each child a cup of feed and the opportunity to pet the fuzzy, furry, and feathered farm animals. Kathy Brown McHale even joined in the fun! The children were curious and excited to meet the friendly animals and to have a chance to experience a little bit of farm life at SPIN
