5th Annual SPIN Appreciation Gala

On Friday, December 2nd, 2011 SPIN hosted its 5th annual Appreciation Gala at the Philadelphia Ballroom. SPIN was lucky enough to be one of the first in the newly constructed building and it did not disappoint. The beautiful ballroom comfortably welcomed 450 guests all looking to celebrate one another, eat, drink, and dance. The night opened up with an assortment of tasty appetizers from P & P caterers, followed by a delicious buffet. Following dinner, Jennifer Hughes, master of ceremonies, highlighted Employees of the Month, Teams of the Quarter, and SPIN’s Excellence and Leadership nominees and winner.
Then came the big announcement, the drawing of the winner for the $50,000 Grand Raffle Prize. The crowed waiting in anticipation as Mindy Lederhandler Lutts read out, “And the winner is…Kamiel Scott!” Although Kamiel was unable to attend the Gala at the last minute, many in the room know her and were excited to see a SPIN employee and a familiar name win the grand prize. Coming in second place was Kate Soda’s friend Brian Morton and the third prize winner was Chris Losinno, who is currently in Afghanistan and is the son of David and Trina Losinno. Once the winners were announced the party really got going with the help of DJ A Smoove, who played to a full dance floor for the rest of the night.
