On Monday July 25th, SPIN was notified that we had
been awarded a competitive bid contract by the Southeast Regional
Key to provide professional development courses to early childhood
educators in Philadelphia. The Southeast Regional Key or
SERK, as it is known, is responsible to develop and implement an
integrated and coordinated system of program quality improvements
and professional development supports for Early Childhood
Education. The SERK requested proposals from qualified
organizations last spring to contract with them to fulfil this
mission and SPIN's proposal was successful!
SPIN succeeded because of our expertise in delivering the
highest quality professional development practices and our
expertise in early childhood best practices. Congratulations
to the design team led by our Executive Director, Judy
Dotzman. SPIN's innovative and highly skilled
SERK design team includes Annemarie Clarke, Debbie
Geissel, Alexandra Ranieri-Deniken, Jennifer Davis-Fenton, Patti
Parisi, Richard Greenfield, Jennifer Hughes and Katie
Dougherty. Their success in bringing this
contract to SPIN reflects their commitment to our organization and
to excellence in early childhood best practices.
Please join me in congratulating this team of professionals and
sharing in the pride of knowing that at SPIN we all have the
opportunity to work with the best leaders in our field and the
opportunity to bring a life of possibilities to others.
