Program Specialists

Dear Jennifer Dragon, Megan Russell, Dan Gormley, Ebony Stevens, Kia Wilson, Jamie Viviano, Megan Leighton, and Liz Harte,

Just about three years ago, we set a goal to achieve full compliance with new regulations and requirements for ISPs. As it turned out, this would require a complete reorganization in Residential, a detailed competency assessment of personnel, new training approaches and a full system redesign. But none of that would mean a thing without the right people in the position of Program Specialist. That’s where this incredible team comes in! You accomplished our goal of full compliance with ISP regulations and so much more.

Not only have you all “nailed it” through your performance excellence in the area of ISPs and programming, you have added depth, quality and dependability in our services through your demonstration of all of SPIN’s Pillars. This team is “All In” in every way that counts. You each develop relationships with the people on your caseloads as well as with all team members. For that reason and more, your co-nominators, Debbie Ridge and Kim Williams both told me independently that you are the “go to” team for everyone. You research new service and programming ideas, identify and share resources and know how to expertly get your hands on those all important documents and data when our friends from BHSL come to call.

Through your excellent teamwork, the Program Specialists, are a highly effective and high performing team. Debbie identifies that there is no negativity in this team as you face every challenge with a “we can do it” positive attitude. One example of this was when one of your colleagues had resigned and an ISP meeting had not been identified to be attended. When the call came, you each sprang into action. Everyone took a piece of the work and as a result we were able to provide all necessary information and coverage for this ISP meeting. This story personifies how seriously you take your team’s mission, how much you care and will stop at nothing to get the job done.

Kim says this team is always receptive and willing no matter if the situation at hand increases your workload. Your positive, welcoming reaction to everyone makes this team a pleasure to work with and builds trust with others. You respect and value everyone and one another and always do your best for them. This is the true customer service excellence we are seeking to establish throughout our organization.

You have taken the huge responsibility of Residential ISPs and programming from the shoulders of our Assisting Directors. They and the entire Residential team and individuals can count on you to be there for ISP meetings, house meetings, monitorings, SIS assessments and more. You are collaborators, connectors and worker bees! But at the end of the day you are like one big, happy family fully committed to SPIN and SPIN’s Pillars and to each person you support.

So now the entire SPIN team, myself included, has the opportunity to acknowledge, thank and praise all of you, our most deserving Program Specialist team, for all of your incredible team work, collaboration and accomplishments. On behalf of SPIN’s Corporate Board, the management team and all of the people you support, congratulations to Jen, Megan, Dan, Ebony, Kia, Jamie, Megan and Liz for being SPIN’s Team of the Quarter for the Winter of 2015! We admire and deeply appreciate you and all that you do!
